The Dan German Visiting Distinguished Chair from the Department of Government and Justice Studies, Professor Federiga Bindi, will chair a panel of students from her Women in International Relations course to discuss major women on the past and present political stage across multiple countries and backgrounds. They include the United States’ Hilary Clinton and Condoleezza Rice, the United Kingdom’s Margaret Thatcher and Myanmar’s Aung San Suu Kyi. All four women have played major roles in international relations with varying results and receptions from their peers and respective citizens.
The day after #StateOfWomen, for the first time the main women programs and organizations engaged in IR and Foreign Policy will join forces to discuss how to promote international women leadership! Join us for an exciting discussion, precious advice and unique networking!
